FFI is leading Fortescue’s decarbonisation and growth agendas. This will be achieved through developing a portfolio of projects centred on the production of renewable hydrogen, ammonia, minerals, and other value-added products. Title: Manager Planning and Procurement
Work location: Perth based (Hazelmere)
Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)
In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet
Based out our new Hazelmere R&D facility and reporting to the Head of Project Management Control, we are presently looking for a Manger Planning and Procurement
Key accountabilities will include:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the strategic procurement, tactical planning and quality systems teams.
- Lead teams to support and engage delivery teams to provide services that are aligned where practical and possible to the FMG planning, procurement and quality systems and are applicable to the requirements of Green Fleet projects
- Provision of leadership to the Quality Systems team who will provide Inspection and Quality engineering services to Green Fleet Project Management teams.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce or Business desirable
- 5-10 years’ experience leading teams in a similar environment
- Experience in a start-up environment implementing new process and framework
- Previous experience in the resource sector
- Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal awareness with ability to work well in a team
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence
- Results driven, responsible and accountable
- Skilled in rapid problem solving
