Job Description:<\/th>	Coordinates the work of multidisciplinary teams to complete projects related to hydrology and water resources research.<\/p> Manages and conducts field and laboratory work to complete research project tasks that need the use of new techniques and tools.<\/p> Reviews design reports, plans, research proposals, and manuscripts that may require the use of new data analysis techniques or methodology.<\/p> Trains, instructs others on the use and operation of highly specialized equipment, research methodology, or technology.<\/p> Stays current on new technologies, emerging techniques, software programs, and instrumentation in the field of expertise.<\/p> Maintains compliance with Environmental Health and Safety and other institutional and governmental regulations.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>
Expected Salary:<\/th>	$44,700 annually.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>
Minimum Requirements:<\/th>	Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>
Preferred Qualifications: <\/th>	Experience that equips the applicant with knowledge of hydrology, irrigation, and soil and water sampling methods.<\/p> Ability to learn new skills on the use of specialized and emerging technologies.<\/p> Ability to operate and maintain hydrologic sampling and instrumentation.<\/p> Ability to collect, handle and summarize data and use computer software packages.<\/p> Ability to design and create websites.<\/p> Ability to perform literature reviews.<\/p> Ability to coordinate a group to perform research tasks.<\/p> Ability to instruct others on operation of lab and field equipment.<\/p> Ability to review and contribute to research proposals and manuscripts.<\/p> Machines and equipment used regularly are computer, field datalogger, and sensors, soil physics equipment, soil sampling equipment.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>
