About The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences has an enviable research record and is the University of Melbourne’s largest faculty in terms of management of financial resources, employment of academic and professional staff, teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate (including research higher degree) students and the conduct of basic and applied research.

About the Role
As the Assessment Project Officer you will work closely with the Director of Assessment and staff within the Department of Medical Education to ensure the ongoing success of assessment reforms across The Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. You will play an integral role in the ambitious review program, which aims to introduce innovative and evidence-based changes to the MD, by undertaking co-ordination and delivery of our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) examinations program, across all 4 years of the MD. You will support changes to assessment format, including the delivery of computer-based examinations and the development, implementation and evaluation of learning materials for the BYOD exams, assessment and feedback literacy.

You will have an interest in assessment and teaching within a higher education setting, and a demonstrated proficiency in educational technology systems. An excellent communicator, your well-developed written and verbal skills will allow you to engage with stakeholders across the university on matters relating to assessment within the MD program and adaptation of new technologies.
