Base Location: Glasgow or Perth

Salary:£29,000 - £43,600 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months | Full Time | Flexible First options available

SSEN Transmission has a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Business Planning and Performance team. The role will support the delivery of improved business performance through the development, implementation, and maintenance of business processes to ensure regulatory and business compliance.

This role provides a fantastic introduction to the SSEN Transmission business. It will involve exposure at a senior level (Director and Head Of) and will play a fundamental role in the preparation for our next business plan which will detail our net zero project delivery programme.

The main responsibilities of the Business Analyst are:

  1. Collect, analyse and organise complex data sets whilst ensuring attention to detail and accuracy. This will include acquiring data from multiple sources, analysing and challenging data to ensure accurate reporting.
  2. Implementing project management strategies on internal workstreams which will involve tracking and monitoring milestones and preparing update reports for senior management.
  3. Identifying business performance improvements and delivering processes to ensure compliance with our licence obligations.
  4. Report writing and presentation of information to communicate findings at a senior level and inform strategic decision making.
  5. Engage constructively and develop a network of a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, working closely with technical, financial and engineering specialists to ensure effective communication of information.
