Job Description:

Preparing and maintaining primary mouse neuroglial cultures and immortalized cell cultures, including preparing media and dissection buffers and maintaining a clean work space.

Biochemical procedures including, but not limited to, protein extractions & western blotting.

Mouse breeding, handling and surgeries

Immunohistochemistry staining and digital imaging and analysis

Expected Salary:

$14.90 - $16.25

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in biology or a closely related life science field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred skills:
Preparation and maintenance of primary mouse neuroglial cultures.
Experience in mouse surgery
Experience in protein extractions & western blotting.
Immunohistochemistry staining and digital imaging/analysis.
Mouse breeding and handling.

Desirable skills:
Experience with mouse behavioral analysis

Advantage skills:
Knowledge in basic data processing and preparation for analysis.
Practical knowledge in computer operating systems (Windows, Macintosh OS), and software (Word, Power Point, Sigma Stat).
