About the role

As a BA at sportsbet you will be working within a feature team, with delivery 2 weekly sprints. Acting as a liaison with business, translating their needs for a variety of technologies, including back office, customer facing (web and mobile) and internal systems.

You will be responsible for eliciting and analysing requirements to deliver quality solutions to the business. You may work alone or with other BAs and will work closely with the other members of the feature team and technology including UX, developers and testers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Be the interface between stakeholders across both business and technology including development and testing teams
• Elicit and analyse requirements from stakeholders using a variety of techniques
• Maintain a high level of requirements quality
• Use data and processes during analysis to clarify and validate requirements
• Defines acceptance criteria and monitors user experience
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to determine the most appropriate technical solution and provide analysis on trade-offs between usability, functionality and performance needs
• Expected to run ceremonies like backlog grooming, Sprint planning, etc
• Active participant in the BA community
• Provide learnings back to the community, to contribute to the uplifting of skills and knowledge of the BA community
• Develops assets for re-use and looks for efficiency opportunities

About You

• 2+ years in a similar role
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, including influencing and negotiation.
• Good ability to prioritise with effective time management skills
• Business analysis experience with proven experience as a competent generalist BA:

• Good technical knowledge to understand the right tools and techniques for each of the above activity.
