Job Description:

The Program:

The Statewide Access and Patient Flow Program has been established to develop a system-wide framework for integrating, delivering and evaluating programs of work aimed at improving patient access and flow through the Tasmanian healthcare system.

Building on the achievements and progress made to date, this Program maximises and coordinates these efforts and applies these on a consistent statewide basis. The Program is based on initiatives that have a proven evidence base or track record of success.

The Role:

As the Nurse Manager for the Statewide Access and Patient Flow Program:

Location:

Two positions, one of each located in the north and south regions of Tasmania

Details of Appointment

Two Permanent, full time, day work positions working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary:

$108,967 to $115,103 per annum + 10% superannuation

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
