Position Title - Digger \/ Drill Auto Electricians<\/strong><\/p>

Work Location: <\/strong>Fortescue\u2019s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.<\/p>

Roster:7D\/7N\/7R or 7D\/7N\/14R<\/strong><\/p>

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible to ensure maintenance activities on the plant, equipment and utilities under accountability are safely executed against schedules, plans, procedures and the Mines Act. You will have a high level of technical experience and knowledge of Liebherr and Terex Excavators. PV271, SKS and DR580 Drills<\/p>

Key accountabilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>

• Delivering a safe working environment and the safe execution of all maintenance activities. Engage and embrace our safety systems, procedures and permits<\/li>
• Complete all tasked activities without the need for re-work.<\/li>
• Raise notifications in SAP for machine defects. Include accurate parts lists and timeframes for completion<\/li>
• Complete all SAP paperwork accurately<\/li>
• Complete a thorough handover with your fellow oncoming crew to set them up for success<\/li><\/ul>

  Qualifications and skills required<\/strong><\/p>

  • Relevant Mobile Plant Trade Certificate <\/li>
  • Previous experience with diggers and drills at a mining capacity<\/li>
  • Understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance principles<\/li>
  • Understanding of 1SAP work management processes<\/li>
  • Understanding of Lean principles (5S, Visual Management, waste)<\/li>
  • Knowledge of the Mines Safety & Inspection Act & Regulations<\/li>
  • Experience working with safety management systems<\/li>
  • SAP,BMS Excel and Word computer skills<\/li><\/ul>
