The Role and the Team:

Reporting to the Manager - Physiotherapy Services, the Physiotherapist - Paediatrics role will work as part of a dynamic team delivering physiotherapy services to paediatric clients of Community Physiotherapy North West. There will be the opportunity for the successful applicant to travel across the North West Region of Tasmania.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term, full time, day work, position working 76 hours per fortnight until February 2023

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

• Applicants should note that, for a period of six months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: $68,089 - $98,027 per annum + 10% superannuation

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

• Salary range is in accordance with the Allied Health Professional Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2019

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

1. Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
2. Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

1. Current Driver’s Licence

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
   1. crimes of violence
   2. sex related offences
   3. serious drug offences
   4. crimes involving dishonesty

3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
