CTS-IT is actively recruiting for a Application Developer Analyst III. The candidate will provide research and support in the development of systems and software. The candidate will support scientific collaboration and the creation of an investigator network. The candidate will participate in the training of new developers and is involved in researching and establishing standards of development for coding and project management.<\/p>

Develops Research Systems <\/strong>
The candidate will design, develop, test and document research applications and systems with minimal guidance from the supervisor or project manager. The candidate will use source control management tools and software development tools to provide project research support. The candidate will collect, analyze and report on experimental data. The candidate will demonstrate initiative in the informatics research process. The candidate will apply security methodologies in developing software and systems that manage health research information.<\/p>

Project Research Coordination <\/strong>
Candidate will lead coordination of project research. Project research can include, but is not limited to, researching limited data sets, pertinent medication data, study protocols, IRB compliance, and technical methodologies. Candidate will possess superior interpersonal skills in order to develop project objectives with customers. Planning and direction of project team members\u2019 work will be required.
The candidate will also assist with the preparation, editing and submission of new grants related to clinical studies\/projects. The candidate will report to and follow up on events with Principal Investigator and Investigational Review Board as required by protocol. The candidate will maintain confidentiality of HIPAA protected data collected. The candidate will stay current on IRB protocol and procedures. The candidate will provide preliminary background research for potential projects and grants.<\/p>

Collaboration <\/strong>
The candidate must be able to collaborate and interact with fellow team members. They must be able to present their work before team members in biweekly meetings. They should be able to explain design concepts and software techniques. They will help train new team members. The candidate may be asked to lead small workgroups of engineers. Experience working within a development team is a plus. Candidate must be able to present at national conferences and discuss the results of their research and work with the medical and informatics communities.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

$75,000 - $90,000 annual salary; commensurate with education and experience<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

Bachelor\u2019s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational\/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Degree in computer science, information science, human-computer interaction or related discipline. Three years of professional experience in software development.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>
