Title: Engagement Coordinator
Work location: Perth based (Hazelmere/Hybrid)
Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)
In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet
Based out of our new Hazelmere R&D facility and reporting to the Head of Engagement- Green Fleet, we are presently looking for an Engagement coordinator.
Working closely with the Engagement team you will play a vital role in the site testing/deployment of green technology across Rail/HME and Marine. This position provides the successful applicant an outstanding opportunity to be part of a tight knit team and gain exposure to multiple industrial disciplines.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Support of the engagement team across HME/Rail/Marine Green Fleet projects
- Communicate and plan with key stakeholder to ensure site-based infrastructure/technology is in place ready for successful deployment of green energy mobile projects
- Interface through regular scheduled meetings between FFI Green Fleet and FMG to ensure smooth integration of green mobile projects to site
- Liaise with FMG ops and maintenance to identify the resources required to support testing activities
- Providing regular updates to the Head of Engagement and other senior leaders within FMG and FFI
Qualifications and skills required:
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build strong relationships at various levels in the organisation
- Excellent reporting and presentations skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- HME or Rail Operations and maintenance experience would be advantageous
- Project management and planning experience would be advantageous
