Information Services in UF Research is seeking a candidate with experience in both Information Technology and Business Administration for the role of IT Business Analyst. The candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements from University stakeholders and translating them into technical documents for the software development team. Effective communication skills, the ability to discover, organize, and clarify business needs are required. The incumbent should be experienced in writing Epics and User Stories, working with project management software, and writing technical design documents. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the software features developed are in line with business needs. Experience working in Jira is a plus.

Responsibilities:
\u2022 Liaising between the IT department and University stakeholders
\u2022 Acting as an information source and communicator between groups
\u2022 Analyzing the design of technical systems and business models
\u2022 Utilizing IT data for business needs
\u2022 Finding technological solutions to business requirements
\u2022 Building requirements documents for university software solutions
\u2022 Writing Epics and User Stories for desired software functionality
\u2022 Building reports and analyzing data to inform business decisions
\u2022 Scheduling, running, and documenting stakeholder requirement gathering meetings
\u2022 Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Stakeholder approval of builds
\u2022 Assist management in communication with stakeholders throughout the build phase
\u2022 Document all communications in Jira, maintaining it as the source of truth<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

High school diploma<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

• Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, business administration or related field<\/li>
• Project Management or Scrum Certification<\/li>
• Experience working with Agile\/Scrum teams<\/li>
• 2+ years\u2019 experience as an IT Business Analyst or Scrum Master<\/li>
• Experience working with project management software, such as Jira<\/li>
• Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment<\/li><\/ul><\/td><\/tr>
