Job Description: | UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an intermediate level Data Warehouse Developer to join Enterprise Systems, a unit within UFIT. Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community. Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are: • Troubleshoot and performance tune existing data warehouse applications. Make recommendations toward the development of new code or reuse/enhancement of existing code. Review processes that audit data synchronization for data corrections. • Assist in the development, maintenance, and support of the data warehouse and corresponding data models, including the development of near real-time and batched data models, star schemas, operational reporting data models, data integrations and synchronization between heterogeneous data stores, debugging and modifying program code, managing deadlines, and ensuring quality control practices are followed. Minimum Requirements: | Associate's degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
