About the Role

Base Location: Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, West London, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex

Salary:£26,120 - £34,500 depending on skills and experience + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

Within the Future Networks part of our business, we are transforming the way our energy networks operate, underpinning the delivery of the smart grid. This will see Distribution Network Operators take a more active role in managing their networks, to address periods of high and low demand, and power outages efficiently, with new low-carbon solutions.

This role is key to ensuring the ongoing monitoring of project progress as well as successful delivery of the trials. A key part of the role will be to provide day to day project support including tracking and reporting progress, ensuring adherence to project governance and maintaining financial controls.

The key responsibilities for the role are:

- Carry out day-to-day support activities for project functions including change management status tracking, as well as the ongoing management and monitoring of the Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies (RAID) and lessons learned logs.

- Gathering and analysing project data ensuring that it is captured, managed, logged, analysed and interpreted in line with project templates.

- Monitoring projects to ensure timely execution and completion in line with relevant governance processes.

- Preparing and communicating project status reports for review by management and project partners.

- Support Project and PMO Manager with day to day running of project as well as supporting other project team members when required including programme and financial management.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Strong background in PMO functions including programme, risk, issue and change management

- Ability to manage, analyse, interpret and communicate key project data, both to an internal and external audience, together with strong coordination and administration abilities.

- High level of ability with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Teams and SharePoint.

- Solid communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

- Self-motivated with an excellent attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure and prioritise tasks.
