Salary: £51,946 - £68,603 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

What is the Role?

The CRIS Consulting team delivers cybersecurity advice and guidance to SSE business units and projects to help them achieve successful delivery and management of risk. We are seeking to enhance our skills in a spectrum of cybersecurity capabilities, and key areas such as Operational Technology, Agile security, Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, with corresponding strong stakeholder management skills.

This is an exciting role where you'll be aligned to one or more SSE Business units on programs that are working at the leading-edge, innovating with new ways of achieving greater throughput and business value through Agile and Digital transformation, and supporting SSE's renewable energy strategy.

In this role you will:

- Be the security expert in application development, database design, network and/or platform (operating system) efforts, helping project teams comply with enterprise and IT security policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

- Assist project members in the identification, specification, design and implementation of appropriate security controls.

- Evaluate and develop secure solutions, based on approved security architectures.

- Analyses business impact and exposure, based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and risks. Communicates security risks and solutions to business partners and IT staff.

- Develop the business, information and risk assessment technical artefacts that constitute the enterprise information security architecture and solutions.

What do I need?

This is a great role. You'll need to be passionate about cyber security, bringing your expertise and extensive cybersecurity experience and broad exposure to infrastructure / network and multi-platform environments.

- Experience working within a complex environment with complex issues, and the ability to provide advice on complex matters to others in team.

- Knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms, and proven ability in security process and organizational design.

- In-depth knowledge of risk assessment methods and technologies and proficiency in performing risk, business impact, control and vulnerability assessments.

- Certified industry qualifications including two or more of:- CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GICSP, NIST RMF, ITIL SABSA, TOGAF, ISA-62443, Azure AZ-303 & 304 Expert or equivalent qualifications.

- Strong experience working in Agile DevOps, Cloud or Microsoft Azure deliveries and/or Industrial Control Systems environments.
