Salary:£26,120 - £34,500 depending on skills and experience

Working Pattern: Fixed Term - 6 months | Full Time, 37 hours per week | Flexible working options available

About the Department

Energy Customer Solutions is the face of SSE to our customers in GB and Ireland, providing leading and reliable B2B services as well as leading retail solutions for our B2C customers.

SSE Business Energy's core business is supplying energy in a reliable and sustainable way to over 500,000 business customers in the UK ranging from start-ups to large national corporates. Through leveraging the strengths of the SSE Group SSE Business Energy is able to support our customers to adopt a sustainable business approach through the provision of renewable energy, energy optimisation services and advice on how to use sustainability to drive business advantage. We work in partnership with all our customers to ensure that they are maximising the value from their energy contract and are using energy as a value generating asset that can influence better planning, greater cost control, improved working and product environments, reduced carbon footprint, stronger brand equity and more engaged staff.

What is the Role?

The Smart Projects team is responsible for ensuring that there is an active, multi-channel, tailored approach to engaging our customers, and generating the "Demand" of booked smart meter install appointments, and that the programme can successfully and efficiently "Install" smart meters for our customers. This team now has an established leadership team and is recruiting analysts to support the leads in delivering effective campaign and installs, and driving their ongoing improvement.

What do I need?

- Senior experience of working on regulatory projects, preferably in the energy sector, or on smart meter rollout programmes would be beneficial, but is not critical.

- Experience working in a fast-paced business project management environment: delivering projects/change.

- Working in an analytical environment: developing reports and MI, carrying out analysis, including experience in managing large, complex datasets and with intermediate experience of Excel.

- Experience of determining actions from data and managing resolution with internal an external teams.

- Working knowledge of industry standard project methods, either waterfall project methodology or agile.

- Strong stakeholder management skills, including confidence in summarising and articulating back complex data at senior levels.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Assertive and capable of working flexibly without close supervision.
