Our Culture
We strive to create a culture that supports the mental health and wellbeing of our staff. Our Mental Health and Wellbeing framework is built on our leading research team and implements 5 ways to wellbeing. We develop initiatives to promote wellbeing, personal resilience, stigma reduction and help seeking so we can actively support employees who become unwell, considering both direct feedback and evidence.

Future Focus 2026
The Black Dog Institute (BDI) is undergoing significant operational change to support its growth over the next 5 years. The Future Focus 2026 program has been created to guide this process and provide structure and governance to both the strategic and operational work required to ensure efficient and sustainable change. The program has been in place since December 2020 and is now moving into the implementation/transition phase.
