The role:
Delivers a high-quality alcohol and other drug treatment service in accordance with relevant Government Legislation and Regulations, Primary Health Care Principles, Alcohol and Drug Service (ADS) policies, procedures and protocols and relevant professional competencies.
Provides comprehensive clinical assessments, treatment and case management services to clients (and their families/carers) of ADS utilising evidence-based best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
Provides a comprehensive assessment and treatment service for people and their families/carers with multiple and complex needs, including co-morbid alcohol and other drug and mental health issues, in accordance with discipline specific skills and abilities.
Acts as a consultant to other agencies with regard to the support and management of clients with alcohol and other drug needs and promotes community awareness in relation to alcohol and other drugs.

Details of Appointment
Multiple Permanent, full time and part time, shift worker (fully rotational) positions working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

The role:
Analyse, collate, and prepare all clinical and related internal and external documentation into the approved health record in accordance with the Australian Standard (AS) 2828 Health Records and Agency policies, protocols, and guidelines.
Methodically prepare and accurately enter data associated with patient information including reviewing, scanning, uploading, and maintaining clinical documentation, applying quality assurance processes and registering/updating patient demographics into the health information systems in a timely, and confidential manner.
Undertake administrative and clerical duties including processing confidential patient health records, both digitised and paper based.
Input, retrieve, and update internal and external documentation into the hospital’s digitised, primary health record in a structured manner that meets the needs of clinical users and facilitates ease of access and storage of health record information.
Apply quality assurance activities including sustaining the integrity of clinical information in relation to processing, scanning, filing and maintaining the health record to support the accuracy in the provision of safe patient care, and capturing statistical data to support to these activities.

As a Rehabilitation Specialist Consultant, participate in all aspects of the medical care of rehabilitation patients/clients across a range of settings, including acute inpatient, in-reach, ambulatory and community rehabilitation services. Salary
Medical Practitioners (Public Sector) Award
A remuneration package comprising the Agreement base salary, relevant allowances and other entitlements will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on clinical experience and seniority.
Base salary points range for Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1 at $210,000 through to Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 11 at $288,000 with further salary increments available.
Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $291,472 - $301,349 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Allowance in lieu of motor vehicle currently set at $27,535 pro rata per annum, paid fortnightly (with CPI indexation on 1 July each year).
Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,000 pro rata per annum pro rata.
Relocation allowance.
On call allowance % of Base Salary.
All other allowances as per current Award.
And subject to approval from the Private Patient Scheme Committee (PPS), 35% of Base salary plus on-call, pro rata) of additional payment will be paid from (PPS). If not admitted to the PPS, a 35% in lieu of PPS of base salary will be paid.
Other Benefits:
You will have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
You will also have access to accommodation and relocation costs.

Fixed term, part-time day work (with on-call), working 60.8 hours per fortnight commencing 1 July 2024 until 30 June 2026.

The role:
